TICK BORNE DISEASE ADVOCATES
Spirochetal diseases
Spirochetal diseases
I am getting a suspicion that we may be straying from a very important fight and acknowledgment of Lyme and Tick-borne related diseases with outdated non-knowledgeable lab and test readers and scientists.
There is so much ignorance in the lab diseases identification system, pertaining to Lyme spirochetes that misidentification between Lyme and Syphilis in children or any subject could be miss diagnosed. If someone was to tell me I was suffering from Syphilis. I would certainly do my homework. Plus look at the slides. Something stinks here and I suggest a Lyme Knowledgable mind should be looking into it. This Syphilis "epidemic" as it appears, I feel could very well be Blind acknowledgment of Congenital and/or prenatal Lyme in many cases. This needs a good study. BREAD
What is the difference and how it responds to our metabolism and LYME
Here is my thoughts on bread and it's responses to Lyme issues. Keep in mind I am not a dietitian or a Doctor. Not that it has any barring on what is knowledgeable when it comes to Tick-borne related issues or any other autoimmune issue for that matter. So before you run right out and change all of your eating habits, you might consider chatting with either one of these occupations as long as they are Lyme Literate and not simply educated through a conventional 15-minute introduction to Lyme at the big U.
Bread as we know it comes in mostly plastic wrappers.
I have found breads are not all created equal. Much of the white bread is made with (Ingredients: Enriched Wheat Flour)
1. White Bread - Most people eat white bread unless there is a health issue with Bloating. (Gas or Cell) My issue is Fatty cell bloating throughout the body. You can watch this by pitching your Love Handles as we call them at your hip sides. Enriched wheat flour will add two inches to my fat layer, and I will be sluggish and tired. A dietitian can offer much better wording perhaps. The important thing to me is what I pinch and feel and see, is also what I cant pinch, cant feel and cant see.
2. Wheat bread - Now we get a bit involved for some. If you like so-called wheat bread and prefer the taste and seem to get these awful bloating issues. You still may be eating (Enriched Wheat Flour Bread). This is how many Restaurants honor the patron's wishes with Wheat bread. But the sad part is: Labeled (Ingredients: Enriched Wheat Flour Bread) does the same damage to some people and cells as most White Bread.
3. 100 % Whole Wheat Bread - (Ingredients: Whole Wheat Flour) makes the difference for me. If I stay away from Enriched wheat flour, I do not bloat. The Ingredients Label on the wrapper will tell you what you need to know as a rule. The enriched wheat Flour in NON-Whole Wheat Bread is obviously very unhealthy for the late-stage or possibly early-stage Lyme sufferer. I do find myself eating a white bun in a restaurant from time to time. I also fall for the wheat sub bun when ordering out. But in large, I stay away from Enriched wheat flour bread, because it is not Whole Wheat Bread.
I was given the information from my first Lyme Literate Doc who was a pioneer of his day in Lyme treatment and deeply threatened and chastised in courts by the powers that be by the CDC, IDSA, NIH, and license compromises that he was limited to what he could do as an Insurance covered doctor and what his patients could turn into their insurance companies. Therefore he could not practice medicine without charging cash only from patients. So you and I owe him. (no names mentioned).

"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""
I was asked to submit my thoughts on the present Lyme issues. I submited the following.
Dear Journal,
My cause for better Tick-borne diseases understanding by the medical community and higher education is not filtering through the channels of Big U. learning channels. But is coming from the grassroots fieldwork of Medical professionals that understand, there is something wrong from top-tier learning, down to the medical advisor to the patient. When only the patient has the answers to their own successes or demise.
This medical climate through Covid Pandemic has also clouded the importance of Tick disease issues and increased the Lyme and co-infections such as Bartonella, Babesiosis, Anaplasmosis among many others infectious spread by at least 150,000 victims per year in the USA alone. Up from 425,000 annually (This comes from a CDC post recently)
There will not be a valued medical Tick defense system until all medical professionals, from first responders to specialists of all areas of medicine stop blowing this responsibility off to the next office.
We must educate the complete medical system. The best way at this time as I see it is to start listening to the surviving speakers and educators and the Lyme Literate community that is in place at Ilads. ( International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society ) and many very knowledgeable characters fighting for updated Lyme medical practices.
We must restart learning global Tick disease prevention practices that have been diluted through population growing neglect and medical gaslighting for higher profit-taking and misdiagnosis from/to the patient.
There are great Lyme prevention programs available in the ready-to-educate world.
We need to be using this now.

Babesia and Paniculitis

Linda's liniment treatments are seeming to be not so many because I am not reminded to give her the Liniment massage. I still feel getting the lyme under control is important. But we have had real good luck eliminating the inflammation and nodules with the liniment. I should also add she suffered before her Lyme Disease diagnosis with failing kidneys. Her kidneys now are replenishing themselves and all tests say they are normal. I did not mention where I had put this theory together. I was researching sub-dermal nodules and found a match with Paniculitis. My doctor laughed at me. He never heard of it. But I found that Paniculitis is suspected to come from different things and one of the things was Babesia. If you know Tick borne diseases. You know Babesia is a co-infection to Lyme disease. Meaning you can get co-infections along with your lyme infection. Babesia is a Malaria cousin and a MicroBacterium. I believe in the theory that if you don't get rid of the Bacterium first you may find it harder to get rid of other tick borne illnesses. It is suspected that Paniculitis will attack the pancreas and the liver and kidneys. Possibly be tide to type 2 diabetes. Linda is getting that under control better now that we are getting rid of toxins and the Babesia. Babesia in turn depletes the kidneys ability to filter toxins through the urine. These toxins build up in the sub dermal fat membrane under the skin and they are like prickly needles against the nerve endings. I thank my lymee friend for striking yet another very good article for my blog at throughchallenge. |
TOXIN REMOVAL

Today I am finding myself talking about something that when I was a young man back on the farm. I couldn't dig, burn or kill this plant fast enough. Now I look at it as a pain reliever. My wife suffered greatly before her lyme diagnosis for years and back when she was diagnosed clinically and couldn't afford the help. We were forced too research a lot of info out there and before to long we were looking for answers for her very 10+ pain nodules in the fatty tissue under the skin. We would search around and one Dr. Chiropractor suggested pressure point therapy. I believe it may have helped in that we were doing something but in the long run , I believe we made more nodules. I began researching and finally found something that fit her problem. In the meantime a doctor suggested she have some tests and found that she may possibly be suffering a fatty liver. That is not a good thing for as the liver turn to fat, it looses it's filtration capabilities. As I was looking into Linda's painful nodules. I found an article on paniculitis. This was before she receive help for her lyme. While researching this Paniculitis, which basically I was laughed at when mentioning it to the doctor. This was being mentioned as possibly a Babesiosis related issue. In Linda's case a Lyme disease and co-infection related issue. It all boiled down to her liver was failing to filter the toxins from the body. The article mentioned that Babesia attacks the pancreas which triggers her Type 2 diabetes and then moves for the kidneys and then liver. The toxin that the liver can not filter goes into the body somehow, someplace. In her case, it shows up as pin point nodules under the skin. Very very painful. With Epsom salt baths would reduce some of the pain. But we could never get rid of it all and diet, supplements, and pain killers just wasn't enough too curb the pain. Then as my Linda was watching television she notice a supplement advertisement for Milk Thistle. She said she would like to try it. So she tried it and it is about 4 weeks now and her nodules are shrinking and her pain is lesser than before she began taking it. There is a ways to go yet as we have been treating her Lyme and co-infections. We are hopeful that we are on to something. Milk Thistle is not a pain reliever. Milk thistle helps too replenish the livers capability too filter out toxins. Who would have thought. |
D&L HEALTH UPDATE

Hello, readers, I have not updated My wife Linda and my progress lately. I have been asked often what I am taking for my lyme treatment. I have recently started going to Linda's doctor because I felt we didn't need two minds working on the same problem. Meaning one doctor, less confusion. So as for Linda, she has been on Immunoglobin transfusions for a few months. This is too pump up her autoimmune numbers. We feel along with her meds such as an anti-viral med called Coartem 120mg 2xday. Alternating days between the two. Plus her supplements like probiotics, Artemisia, B-12 among others directed by her LLD(Lyme literate doctor). Linda is making progress and is now going the full month between transfusions. My progress is also coming along and do seem to have some pain free days lately. I am taking 100mg. capsules Doxycycline, Coartem 120mg 2xday, plus Mepron 750mg/5m sus 2xday along with 25 billion count probiotics too help keep my intestinal fauna up to par. We just got back from our 2 month visit with the lyme doc and a good report was welcomed. Took blood samples for the both of us and will see for sure the progress that was made. As far as I can tell. We advanced lyme sufferers are making strides toward handling this monster called LYME without much help from CDC. That is all for now and stay tuned. |
LINDA'S UPDATE

Hello all, I know some of you have been waiting for an update on my wife Linda and her Lyme story. We just went through a bit of a slump with her meds and transfusions because of policy changes in Penna. But we are now back on track and she is getting what she needs I feel and with a few more months of this she very well may be well on the road to recovery. We will see. The slump did give us a good idea to whether the transfusions and Meds were working for her Babesia that she suffers with. This is the culprit that the LLMD wishes to tackle after getting rid of the H Pylori. Before going after the other co-infections that have been allowed to take over her body because of Lyme and it's many Auto immune disguises being misdiagnosed over the years. Things we have learned this far. H. Pylori is a stomach bacteria that will upset you stomach so that when you take meds for something and it does not agree with the H Pylori. It will through you into aggressive vomiting. Get this, it is said that 50+% of the population carries some of this in your gut. A good could be excessive bloting to the point of pain and a very big belly. Then there was the Candida or yeast in the blood which is another co-infection allowed to flourish in the body with low auto immune responses. So before we move forward to the Bartonella and that other thing, DAH, not coming to me now. We will concentrate on Babesia. She was up until 3:30 this morning working on her new children book. She is starting to get some spark in her mind again and working with some of her plants. It's amazing what grows along with a garden if you give it a chance. This is all for now. Thank you all and I will keep you update. Stay tuned for my #2 of 6 articles I wrote about Linda and her Babesia. David R Thomas |
Lyme Testing Part 2
Posted on August 28, 2013 at 1:21 PM |

Part 2. Lyme Testing In my understanding that mainstream medicine does not understand the ins and outs of testing for Lyme. When a person goes to the doctor and says I had a tick on me and now I don't feel good. In most cases the Doctor will say. 1. Did you get a rash? 2. Or it is probably just a cold. 3. It is probably allergies. These statements are common in mainstream medicine and I am glad to say are changing slowly. The testing is a problem right now as I see it. When a mainstream doctor orders and Elisa test for Borellia Burgdorferi (Lyme Disease) that it is just for Borellia. It is not for the co-infections that is killing you. I had a positive test for Lyme with Elisa test and of coarse there was a western blot test done for a backup that came back negative. This is when the doctor should have given me some antibiotics if nothing more than to see if I got better. And if I did get better, keep me on it for a while. But in those days there was not the knowledge of lyme as there is today. Now we have a better understanding and more doctors are unfortunately infected just like me. This although is sad and restricts most from working a full schedule. This also means the best lyme doctor is a sick doctor. |
BABESIA P-6

Babesia P-6 I have come to feel that this all started back in the time of penicillin and antibiotics were first used. We were in aw of the power we had over the disease world that we failed to see the possibilities. One be to much reliance on medicine and not enough on natural selection. I am afraid that Mother Nature will make that decision for us with the dysfunction of the mainstream medical community to realize this public health hazard. Below are ailments that some times are misdiagnosed lyme disease cases. David R Thomas Author of: My Successes Through Challenge and Adversity And Lyme Disease Lyme Disease is often misdiagnosed as:

BABESIA P-5

Babesia P-5 Testing strategy is not up to par as the mainstream likes to use for the detection of lyme and tick borne diseases. I was myself tested with Elisa test and returned a positive test then it was backed up with a western blot test which both tests were sent to a not lyme knowledgeable testing lab. The western blot came back negative and there by the doctor through it out and said I tested negative for lyme. These tests are basically useless after you have been treated with antibiotics for any number of issues such as sinus which was one of my first troubling issues with lyme. After a time a lyme literate doctor would have your blood test overnight ed to California for a special lyme test that will be more accurate and then it is not always 100%. Often you are clinically diagnosed and then put on antibiotics for a time and when this has results. It is most likely the right diagnosis. I remember often during one of my many sinus attacks I would feel much better for a few weeks and then I would be right back again for more antibiotics. This should have been a signal. But then there were not the literary ramblings of lyme sufferers and tick related disease sufferers around to put a pattern together. |
BABESIA P-4

Babesia P-4 Over the years I have been Watching different diseases talked about in various diagnosis and many have caught my interest. All of them relating to the dysfunction of the auto immune system. I am seeing a pattern with many of these auto immune problems as being a post cursor to a preexisting condition. That is Babesia and that is often accompanied with lyme disease, Bartonella, Candida, among other tick related diseases. As many are diagnosed correctly, I feel the test needs to go one more to eliminate the possibility of lyme. It could be almost all the auto immune diseases for lyme tends to break down the barriers that protect the body through Cell wall deficient blood cells created by the elusive Barbarella and lyme disease. When I look at some of these disease like MS, Alzheimer, M.D, Dercums, Autism, and many more ailments that I feel can be brought on by an infected tick. I have found reluctance in further testing once there has been an educated guess to the problem. |
BABESIA PART 3

Babesia P-3 In my research for her paniculitis problem, it was said that she could try Epsom salt baths. I feel this has reduced her nodules down to being pain manageable with her pain patch and break through pain meds as she needs them. Also as her doctor is now treating her Babesia, we feel she is starting to make some improvement toward regularity. But we need to take one disease at a time. This lady you talk of I believe needs a lyme literate doctor, as there are only a # of them in the Massachusetts area. If you do not find one, May I suggest calling the national Lyme assoc. Lyme disease is called the great imitator for a reason. If you are interested in more about tick related issues. You can go to my website at www.throughchallenge.com. Thank you if you read this far. If you didn't you won't mind me saying you are in the wrong profession. Thank you and have a good day. |
Babesia Part 2

Babesia P-2 As for your 41 yr. Old woman. If she does not remember a Tick bite or rash, perhaps as it was stated in your article that she had 4 surgeries through the years before taking sick with her dreadful ailments. It is very possible as I am reading stories of this now. That the blood supply if she had any transfusions of blood or contaminated blood products through the years could have made her very sick. Mainstream medicine is not up on tick born diseases and insists that there is not enough problems to be concerned with. But it is just the opposite and truly this lady needs to be talking with somebody who will look at her for Babesiosis. I researched My wife’s issues for a number of years and found that a number of her issues pointed to paniculitis and so I found an article out of Philadelphia university and began to try to understand it. I found that one of the possible causes of paniculitis is Babesia. As the article states, the parasite as babesia is. A malaria like relative attacks the pancreas triggering a type 2 diabetes problem as it did with my wife. Then it works on the liver and kidneys and that disables the ability the filter out the toxins in the body, there for creating the subcutaneous nodules in the fatty tissue layer under the skin. My wife also has been tested positive for lyme and bartonella and candida with H. pylori as a complication for her medicine intake. |
